Welcome! 

As you have probably gathered by this time, my name is William (Bill) and I was born and raised in Central Wisconsin!  I am blessed with the company of a wonderful wife of 17 years (in August!) and four beautiful children, three boys and a girl between the ages of 8 years and 14 years.

Professionally, my teen years were spent working a neighbors dairy farm until I graduated high school.  My boss insisted that we were on the "wrong" end of the cow enough times that after graduation I left to work for a custom cheese packaging company in search of the "right" end of the cow.  At this company, I did everything from entry level work to eventually having corporate Safety and Training responsibilities with the Human Resource department.  I did not know it at the time, but God was already preparing me for ministry through this employer!

Over time, Christine and I began to purchase rental real estate and even opened a retail / service business which we did full time.  It was at this time that the Lord began to work at getting our attention, although I will be the first to admit that I was being more than a little stubborn in my efforts to not here His call.  A good friend of Christine's had passed away and the events surrounding her death began to work on Christine and I.  We began to search once more for what was missing in our lifes, but we were not sure what or who the emptiness inside us might be or represent.

At the same time that we began searching, the real estate market in this area began taking its toll on us financially, although our new retail business was able to float things for a little while, but we knew that it was way too new to make it for the long haul.  We were working long, long days and the stress was very high and we decided to begin liquidating the business.  As we went through this, Christine and I both continued to feel the emptiness inside ourselves, not yet knowing what it was that was missing.  We did not realize just how deeply the other was feeling the emptiness.

Then one day in November of 2004, as our business and real estate "empire" crumbled around us, I fell to my knees and gave myself to the Lord Jesus Christ, reinviting him into my life.  I can tell you that at that moment, as the tears ran, the hole inside me filled and I never felt so warm and loved in my whole life.  Praise God!

But you know, as I went home in my excitement to share with my wife how I had been feeling and what I had just experienced through Jesus, Christine was at home waiting to tell me that she had just done the very same thing!  Praise God!

Since then, Father God led us to Believer's Church (Center City) in Marshfield, WI that nurtured and prepared us for a life serving God (God used this as an opportunity to teach me that we may have many denominational names, but ultimately we are followers of Christ first). 

Traditionally, my family consists of Lutheran Christians  and St. John Lutheran Church of Edgar, WI has been wonderful to my family during our transition and currently in ministry.  Pastor Tarras has been a part of many important events in my families religous life and I cannot thank him enough for being an example of Christ's love on earth.  In addition, and true to our calling, we have also been blessed by non denominational congregations / Pastors (such as Believer's Church (Pastor John and Pastor Rob) and World Harvest Church (Pastor Mirek and Pastor Linda)) and other denominational churches.  We give the LORD thanks and praise for all these great men and women of God!  THANK YOU!

We have now gone through an unforgettable time of calling, breaking down, confirmation, affirmation, and finally approval and acceptance of God's call on our lives to serve in Missions at AIM!
